The mystery of the continuous sign stealing that has been affecting the County has finally been solved. Detective Larry Butler of the Adams County Sheriff’s Office presented his findings to the Adams County Commissioners on Tuesday Morning. The perpetrator was not just one person, but in fact six people, all of whom were minors.
“School Resource Officer Mike Mendoza received an anonymous tip over the weekend, which led us to interviewing some [kids], which led to the recovery of 78 signs,” stated Butler, “Our school resource officers are our best eyes and ears in the schools.”
