Squaws zap Wayne for 26-4 mark

    Bellmont blasted Wayne in all three games of varsity volleyball on Tuesday to give the Squaws a 26-4 record. The scores were 25-16, 25-9, and 25-12.
    Here are the BHS stats:
    Alex Fuelling led the way with 16 kills in 21 attempts, with three digs, two block assists, two aces, and one assist. Madison Schultz put down six kills, three aces, two block assists, one block, one dig for Bellmont.
    Payton Schultz added six kills and a block-assist while Emily Pierce had four aces, four digs and two kills. Holly Hankenson added four kills  and a block while Bailee Hankenson pulled up four assists with two kills and a dig. Setter Steph Shoup added 30 assists with a block-assist.
    Chelsea Colclasure led with 11 digs and two aces while Allison Gutierrez had three assists, two digs an an ace. Gabbie Weaver had two kills and one block and Jess Sweney had two kills. Erin Hunter brought up three digs and added an ace.
    For the Lady Generals, Chiddister had five kills, Ruch four kills, Lahmeyer nine assists and seven digs, and Zent five digs.
    The reserve Squaws also won: 25-18 and 25-9.
    The JV stats were these: Autumn Konkle, nine assists, one kill, one dig; Devon Schultz, five digs and two aces; Natalie Busse, seven digs and one kill; Shelby Kiess, eight assists; Maddie Stoppenhagen, five kills, three aces, two digs; Carley Williams, four digs; Audrey Schultz, six kills and two blocks; Hailee Hormann, 15 digs and four kills; and Emily Roman, four digs and two kills.
