Adams Central’s own Jaxson Rinkenberger will play Tennis for Indiana Tech next year. Rinkenberger signed with Indiana Tech coach Brock Orlowski, surrounded by his family and the staff that has helped him reach this point.      “It was a long time coming, it was very stressful the last few months and to finally finalize it is really great,” Jaxson Rinkenberger said when asked about the process of becoming a Warrior. Rinkenberger plans on studying bio-engineering to work with prosthetics.

“I’ve always wanted to play college sports, and to be able to play tennis in college is amazing. I never thought I’d get the opportunity.”

Timmons was proud of his athlete’s decision. “I knew it was on his radar, I tried to encourage him that if this is really what he wants to do, to do it. I’m glad he found a place where his major is fitting and he can get a good education while he plays.”

Rinkenberger will play third base for the Jets’ baseball team this Spring before year-round tennis begins.
