CELINA—Coach Randy Hisner’s runners, hungry to get their delayed 2020 season started, set the tone early and finished with an impressive top three runners to take the large-school division at the Celina Rotary Invitational Saturday.
Junior Deion Guise won the event with a 17:01, finishing five seconds ahead of Isaac Fuelling, who had a 17:06.
“All my training over quarantine paid off,” said an elated Guise afterwards. “I am really excited to see what my fellow athletes and I will be able to obtain this season.”
