Driver shot, killed by police following multi-county chase

The driver of a semi was shot fatally by police after a multi-county chase in western Ohio Tuesday morning, resulting in a section eastbound U.S. 30 being closed.
Pursuit of a semi cab began around 8 a.m. in Allen County, Ohio, and moved into Van Wert County shortly after, according to Lt. Chad Lauck of the Allen County Sheriff’s Department. The semi eventually crashed along U.S. 30 near Feasby Wisener Road, just east of the Indiana-Ohio line.
