Decatur Subway robbed

    Decatur Police Chief Leonard Corral Jr. reported officers were dispatched at 7:43 p.m. Sunday to Subway on N. 13th Street in response to an armed robbery.
    According to a news release, a Subway employee reported two male suspects, armed with handguns, entered the restaurant from the south entrance. Both suspects were reportedly wearing ski masks, dark hoods over their heads and gloves.
    One of the subjects allegedly demanded money and both exited the restaurant the same way the came in, taking with them an undisclosed amount of cash.
    This incident remains under investigation.
