Bellmont senior Tori Miller has committed to join the University of Saint Francis as a student and a softball player. Pictured in front (L-R): Leslie, Tori and Doug Miller.      “Funny story,” Miller started, explaining the situation. “I actually was on USF’s radar for a while, but they thought that I was committed and already graduated. My neighbors have done so much for me with all of their connections and that’s how this one came about. They (USF) realized I wasn’t committed or out of high school. ... I went on a visit and got the offer and then had a couple of weeks to make my decision. As soon as I walked on campus, it was pretty much a yes for me but as we went on the tour and I met some of the other teammates, it was a for sure yes from me. It’s everything I want in a school, 45 minutes or so from home, smaller campus but big enough to have the college experience, the professors were great and super nice. Most importantly, the coaches were amazing; so were the girls. They both seemed intense and that’s exactly what I wanted.”
