Area Easter Egg hunts set for Saturday

    The annual WZBD Easter Egg hunt will be held from noon to 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the open area off Jackson Street behind Riverside Center.

    The Monroe Volunteer Fire Department will host a pancake and sausage breakfast from 5:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday, with the Easter Bunny making an appearance around 10 a.m. An Easter Egg hunt for the children will begin at 10:45 a.m. Those participating are asked to bring his or her own basket to collect eggs.

    Limberlost Golden Easter Egg Hunt will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Limberlost. Ages 12 and younger are welcome. The cost is $2 per child.
    The grounds of Limberlost will be devided into three search areas based on age groups, allowing children a better opportunity to find eggs. Find a golden egg and win a prize.
    Before the hunt, there will be a petting zoo provided by Roll Farms, Professor Curt's egg display case and his joke board and a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny.
    After the hunt, Professor Curt will host an egg class and graduate as an official Limberlost Egghead.
    Yard games will also be available.
