Annabelle Fralick

    Annabelle Fralick, 90, of Convoy, Ohio, died at 2:02 p.m. on Monday, October 3, 2011, in CHP In-Patient Hospice Center at Van Wert, Ohio.
    Annabelle was the daughter of Home Franklin and Violet Addie Engle Rummel. She was born on October 31, 1920, at the family's farm on Wolfcale Rd., rural Convoy.
    Annabelle was preceded in death by her father and mother and six siblings: Chalmer Delmas Rummel, Gladys Xemnia Rummel, Paul Eugene Rummel, Mildred Lucile Cully, Besse Rosalind Estey Orman, and Mary Elizabeth Rummel. Floyd Albert Dull, father of Bonita Dull Reed, also has gone on to be with his maker.
    Annabelle is survived by her beloved husband, Gordon Lowell Fralick; her daughter, Bonita Reed; three grandchildren, Tracy D'ann Endo, Michelle Renae King, and Randall Eugene Reed; seven great-grandchildren, Aaron Wright, Krista Wright, Joshua Endo, Miranda Reed, Celeste Endo, Rilee Reed, and Kamden Reed; and five stepgreat-grandchildren, Christian Endo, Karlea King, Bailey King, Austin Allen, and Grace King.
    She attended Kings School on Wolfcale Rd. and graduated from Tully-Convoy High School in 1938. After high school, she attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago.
    She worked as a bookkeeper in Decatur and as a waitress, and sold Stanley Home Products as she worked her way up to be district manager.
    She also was employed at the CTS Corp. plant in Berne and retired in 1992 at age 71.
    Annabelle's life was full to the brim with service to others. She very much enjoyed her many friends, gardening, and travel. Annabelle was an active member of, and held supporting roles in, the following organizations: Adams County Extension Homemakers, Berne Garden Club, Bordering Neighbors Garden Club, Japonica Garden Club, Ohio Association of Garden Clubs, Van Wert County Extension Homemakers, and Wren, Ohio Garden Club.
    Because of her commitment to the Lord, she was prepared and ready to meet her maker. In her Christian life, Annabelle was just as involved with activities in her church. Early in life, she sang solos and was a member of the church choir. Later in life, she directed choirs, sang in choirs, taught Sunday School, held offices in Sunday School, and supported many and various mission groups, some of which involved friends and family members working in the mission field.
    She was a member of Calvary Evangelical Church in Van Wert.
    Cowan and Son Funeral Home of Van Wert will provide the visitation on Friday, October 7, 2011, from 2-7 p.m.
    Funeral services will be held at Calvary Evangelical Church on Saturday, October 8, 2011, at 10 a.m., with Pastor W. Clark Williman officiating.
    Interment will be in Decatur Cemetery.
    In lieu of flowers, Annabelle has requested that any donations be given to Calvary Evangelical Church's missions program.
