#1 Stars shoot past Jay County

South Adams continued their dominant run to a 1A state championship Friday night, breezing past the homecoming celebrating Jay County Patriots by a score of 55-0 and solidifying their spot as the No. 1 team in class 1A.
After forcing a three-and-out on Jay County’s opening drive, the Starfires took over for the first time with over 10 minutes to play in the first quarter and promptly scored on their second play of the game, a deep 58-yard bomb from James Arnold to Drew Stutzman.
