The Squaws traveled to Cedar Creek in Leo-Cedarville to battle the Lions as well as Penn, Hamilton Southeastern, Carroll, Northwood, Canterbury, Fremont, Bishop Luers, and Blackhawk Christian where they took fourth place on August 8.
Penn took first place with a team score of 310, while Hamilton was just behind with 315. There was a large drop off to third where Carroll avenged an earlier loss to Bellmont a week prior with a score of 365. The Squaws finished a stroke behind at 366.
Northwood also cut close in fifth with 367, while Leo was sixth with 370, Hamilton's B-team was next at 384, followed by Canterbury at 396, Fremont at 461, Leo's B-team at 465, and Luers at 470.
Kari Bellville of Penn was medalist honors with a 70 on the day tying Blackhawk's Jaycee Bunner. Mary Ellen Romero of Hamilton shot a 73 for third with Katie Willenbrink of Penn shooting a 74 and Marissa Holliday of Hamilton netting a 79 in fifth.
Bellmont's top shooter was Rachel Klingensmith with an 86 followed by Macy Phegley's 88. Freshman Morgan Ellsworth landed a 92, while Julia Brewer and Kelsey Roth each tied at 100.
Bellmont's next action will be next week on Monday when they host Northrop at Cross Creek.
