Ronald Laveral Holcomb, 79, of Kingman, Ariz., died at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at his residence.
Ronald was born May 8, 1936, in Boaz, Ala., to the late E. C. and Elizabeth Holcomb.
He married Ruth Gail Clark on September 24, 1955; she preceded him in death.
Ronald worked for International Harvester in Fort Wayne for many years until his retirement.
Among survivors are two sons, Ronnie Lee Holcomb of Kingman, and Mark Holcomb of Wichita Falls, Texas; four daughters, Melodie Gall and Crystal (Michael) Swygart, both of Decatur; Melinda Holcomb of Kingman, Ariz., and Jennifer Holcomb of Colton, Calif.; five grandchildren, Noah Holcomb of Kingman; Mark McBride, Jr., and Isabell Holcomb, both of Decatur; Rusty Holcomb and Leevi Barrientoes, both of Wichita Falls; and great-grandchild Kalen Barrientoes of Wichita Falls.
Ronald was preceded in death by his stepmother, Mama Diesey.
There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at his gravesite in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Convoy, Ohio, followed by a dinner afterward at his favorite restaurant, Ziggy's Tavern, also in Convoy.
