In a match that featured a "to be continued" Bellmont finally defeated the Bluffton Tigers, 3-2 on Monday night at the Teepee after initially starting the match on Thursday night.
Postponed due to rain, the Braves picked up right where they left off last night with the singles players picking up big wins.
Number one for Bellmont, Evan Selking topped senior Brendan Baumgarner, 6-4, 6-4 giving the Braves their final point and the victory. At number two, David Baker took care of business over Tyler Lambert 6-2, 6-0, while Mason Selking downed Tigers' Carson Addington 6-0, 6-1 no problem at number three.
The doubles teams were affected most by the two-part match as Bellmont almost came back to win both one and two going into third sets in both.
"Both doubles teams came up just short of victory, but we're very proud that they came back from down a set to give themselves a chance," BHS coach Joe Selking praised.
