Adams County Clerk Gayla Reinhart has announced that early voting for the November 8 election will run from Monday, October 31, to Saturday, November 5, and on Monday, November 7, in the first floor hallway of the Adams County Courthouse in downtown Decatur.
Voting times will be 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. from October 31 through Friday, November 4; and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, November 5, and Monday, November 7.
She said that those who wish to vote must provide a valid state-issued identification, such as an Indiana driver's license or Indiana identification card, or other government-issued identifications, such as from the military.
Reinhart also pointed out that voting will be done for only for one office in Decatur (the city council's at-large seat) and for six offices in Berne (mayor and all five city council seats).
There are no elections in Monroe, Geneva, or in the rural areas of the county this fall.
