Carol Ann Gresley, 56, of Hoagland, died at 1:02 p.m. Sunday in Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home of Fort Wayne, following an illness that lasted seven years.
She was born on September 30, 1955, in Fort Wayne to Donald F. and Violet M. Poehler Bohnke. Her father is deceased; her mother lives in Monroeville.
She married Don C. Gresley on September 22, 1984, in St. John Lutheran Church (Flatrock); he also survives.
She was employed by Star Financial Services in Fort Wayne as a charge-back specialist for bank cards.
She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church at Bingen, where she was active in the adult choir.
She was a 1973 graduate of Heritage High School. After graduation, she received an associate's degree in distribution and marketing from Indiana University.
Other survivors are one daughter, Kelly Gresley of Carmel; one son, Matthew Gresley of Hoagland; two brothers: Dean A. Bohnke and Larry E. Bohnke (and wife Kathy), both of Monroeville; and her parents-in-law, Dale and Gertrude Gresley of Hoagland.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in St. John Lutheran Church at Bingen, with Rev. Peter Brock officiating.
Burial will be in the cemetery at St. John Lutheran Church, Bingen.
Visiting hours are 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, and 10-11 a.m. Thursday in the church.
