Olive M. Taylor, 85, formerly of Decatur, died on August 3, 2011, at Convoy Care Center in Convoy, Ohio.
She was born on July 26, 1926 in Granite City, Illinois, to William C. and Ruth E. (Lewis) Bilyeu.
She married B. Lee Taylor on January 29, 1944. He preceded her in death on January 31, 2002.
Olive was a graduate of the University of Louisville and a homemaker and had attended Crossroad Church in Decatur.
Survivors include three sons, Michael L. Taylor of Collinsville, Illinois; David L. Taylor of Louisville, Kentucky; and John E. Taylor of Decatur; a daughter, Mrs. Rick (Jan F.) Casebolt of Frankfort, Illinois; two brothers, Elmer Bilyeu of Hamel, Illinois, and Albert Bilyeu of Illinois; two sisters, Helen Roe of Park Hills, Missouri, and Mary Jane Graham of Highland, Illinois; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Jean Taylor, and two brothers.
Visitation will be on Sunday, August 7, 2011, from 2-6 p.m. at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home, Decatur.
Funeral services will be on Monday, August 8, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Rick Casebolt.
Burial will be on Wednesday at 10 a.m. (central time) in Sunset Hill Cemetery at Edwardsville, Illinois.
Memorials are to the Church Camp Fund at First Baptist Church of Collinsville, Illinois.
