Glenn R. "Butch" Griner, 64, of rural Rockford, Ohio, died Wednesday at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio.
He was born on May 2, 1947, in St. Marys, Ohio, to Walter and Beatrice Huston Griner, who are deceased.
On May 30, 1966, he married Jane Harris, who lives in Rockford.
Glenn is survived by a son, Glenn Griner of Rockford; a daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Tabatha) Roberts of Port Orange, Florida; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, William Lowell Griner (and wife Bernita) of Decatur and Edward Griner (and wife Ellen) of Rockford; and two sisters, Mrs. Pat (Mary) Browder and Mrs. Joe (Connie) Tebbe of Celina.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Darlene Griner, Jody Francis, and Pat Walter.
"Butch" was formerly employed at the St. Marys Foundry for 10 years and at a Fleetwood Enterprises motor home plant in Decatur for 31 years.
He was the lead guitarist for a band called Road Runners.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Kevin Coly officiating.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Rockford.
