Gerald E. Hobbs, 67, of Decatur, died at 6:36 p.m. Sunday at his residence.
He married Wilma L. Carter on December 28, 1968; she survives.
He was formerly a maintenance worker at O&R Precision in Geneva and had been attending Cornerstone Missionary Church in Decatur.
Other survivors are one son, Timothy W. Hobbs (and wife Ellen) of Bluffton; three daughters, Alison S. Coons of Bluffton; Mrs. Anthony (Angela N.) Dickerson of Kirklin, Indiana; and Mrs. Don (Teresa J.) Hess of Decatur; two brothers, Herb Hobbs (and wife Ruth Ann) of Alexandria, Indiana, and John Hobbs (and wife Phyllis) of Tavares, Florida; two sisters, Lelia Douglass of Garden Grove, Iowa, and Mrs. Russell (Judy) Tharp of Kirklin, Indiana; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Wayne Hobbs.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur, with burial in Decatur Cemetery.
Visiting hours are 2-4 and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
