Freddie M. Callow, 76, of Decatur, died at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday in Adams Memorial Hospital.
She was born on February 15, 1935, in Speedwell, Tennessee, to McKinley and Cora Tinnell Marsee.
She married William D. Callow on May 29, 1954; he passed away on October 2, 2003.
She was employed by the Schafer Co. in Decatur from 1967 to 1996.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jim (Nora) Verrone and Billie J. Springer of Decatur and Mrs. Robert (Lynn) Robinson of Wichita, Kansas; one son, Phillip Callow (and wife Robin) of Decatur; two brothers, Roy Marsee (and wife Dorothy) of St. Marys, Ohio, and Lenis Marsee of Rockford, Ohio; three sisters, Tommie June Southard of Crestview, Florida; Mrs. Bill (Emma Lou) Cain of Panama City, Florida; and Mrs. Roland (Carolyn) Custer of Homosassa, Florida; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Baker; a son-in-law, Jeffery A. Springer; a sister, Cleo Mayes; and a brother, Carlos Marsee.
A time for family and friends to gather will be held this Saturday at 2 p.m. in her home.
Preferred memorials are to the Adams-Wells Crisis Shelter in Decatur.
