Youth Leagues set for Villa

    The new Villa Lanes will conduct Youth League bowling registration on two dates: Friday, Sept. 9, 6 to 8 p.m., and Saturday, Sept. 10, 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
    Decatur's long time bowling center closed three years ago. Local business men purchased the business recently and hired Mike Miller as the new manger. Renovations have been ongoing and the upgraded house is slated for a Sept. 1 opening.
    Youth divisions will include Bumper, Bantam, and Junior, ages 5 to 20.
    Cost this year for Bumper league will be $5 for two games. Cost for Bantam and Junior leagues will be $7 and will cover three games.
    Sanction fee for Bantam and Junior divisions will be $17.

    Adult league action at Villa Lanes will start with Mondays set aside for 6:30 p.m. church league for men, women or mixed teams. Four-member women's teams will bowl on Tuesdays while a Men's Classic (4-member teams) League is being formed for Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. Mixed Trios will also bowl that night.

    The Men's Minor League will roll at 6:30 on Thursdays (4-member).
    Mixed doubles will roll every other Saturday night with two-men/two-women teams, and the same will go for 6:30 p.m. Sunday mixed leagues.

    Non-smoking dates will be Sundays, Mondays and during youth leagues.
    Molly's Place will offer a full menu, it was noted by Villa Lanes manager Mike Miller.
