Youth League tournament info released

    Masters Heating & Air, with a sterling 13-2 record, earned the top seed in the Hoosier East Baseball Alliance Reese (12-U) Tournament, which begins Monday with games at Monmouth and Decatur.
    Trupointe of Monroeville will meet Oetting Insurance of Monmouth in the 8 p.m. game at Monmouth on Monday. Erie Haven (8-7) will meet Miller Land Surveying (5-9) in a first round game, also at 8 p.m. Monday, at Rube Wynn Field.
    The Trupointe-Oetting winner will clash with Master's on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Rube Wynn Field in the semi-finals. Decatur Dental (9-4) will meet the Erie Haven-MLS winner in the other semi-final, set for 6 p.m. at Monmouth on Tuesday.
    The championship game is slated for 7 p.m. on Thursday at Rube Wynn Field.
 
Adams-Wells Koufax Tourney slated
    Regular-season champ Courtesy Motors, unbeaten in division and cross-over play (13-0), and Ossian White (No record available) earned first round byes in the 2012 Adams-Wells Sandy Koufax Tournament, which will begin Monday and run through Thursday of next week. It will be a single-elimination affair.
    Courtesy will meet the winner of the Bluffton Elks-Country Corner Deli (Monroe) contest, which is set for 5:30 Monday in Bluffton. Also on monday, Bluffton Parks (5-7) will host Monroeville (1-11) in the 7:45 p.m. game.
    Also in that top bracket, Ossian Gold (4-9) will host Harvest Land (Monroe)  in a 5:30 p.m. game. In the 7:45 p.m. (lower bracket) game at Ossian, McIntire Heating & Air of Decatur (9-4) will clash with Ossian Silver.
    In games at Geneva, Erie Haven (11-2) will meet South Adams Black One at 5:30. The HME Crushers (Monroe) will meet South Adams Black 2 in the second game.
    The tourney will shift to Decatur and Monroe for quarter-finals on Tuesday. Courtesy will open at Worthman Field versus the Elks-Deli winner at 5:30. Also in Decatur, the McIntire-Silver winner will take on Ossian White at 7:45.
    The Crushers-SA Black 2 winner and the Erie Haven-Black 1 winner will meet at Monroe at 7:45 The Harvest Land-Ossian Gold winner will meet the Bluffton Parks-Monroeville survivor in the other contest at 5:30.
    Semi-finals are set for Decatur and Monroe on Wednesday, with the finals slated for Worthman Field in Decatur at 7 p.m. Thursday.
