Yoder named East Allen leader

June 20, 2013

East Allen County Schools announced Wednesday that Ken Folks, chief academic officer at Marion Community Schools, had been chosen as the new EACS superintendent.
The onetime Northern Wells Schools administrator will see his contract formally approved at a special meeting of the board next week.
East Allen officials didn't have to go far to find Folks, who lives in Fort Wayne and has spent most of his life in Allen County. He and his wife, Kay, have two grown sons.
The East Allen district has nearly 9,500 students. Hoagland Elementary and Heritage Schools near Monroeville are part of the district.
