Willodean M. Grace Foster

    Willodean M. Grace Foster, 84, a former Monroeville resident, died at 9:54 p.m. Monday in Hospice Home of Fort Wayne.
    She was born to Martin L. Gladys Beerbower Lehman.
    She married Richard L, Grace, who passed away on October 14, 1961. She married John W. Foster, who passed away on November 28, 2005.
    Willodean was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Monroeville and enjoyed sewing, quilting, and knitting.
    Willodean taught English at East Allen County Schools from 1967-86.
    Surviving are three sons, Robert M. Grace (and wife Pam) of Canton, Illinois; Richard L. Grace (and wife Sharon) of Monroeville; and Rex A. Grace (and wife Brenda) of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; one stepson, Johnnie L. Foster (and wife Beverly) of Monroeville; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Robert (Regina S.) Miller of Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. William (Shirley) Schafer of Indianapolis and Mrs. Donald Andrew (Marjorie S.) Goodson of Columbia City; 16 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
    In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Rebecca M. Wineke, and one great-grandson, Daniel Smith, who died at age 12.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 6, 2010, in St. Mark's Lutheran Church at Monroeville, Rev. William Smith officiating.
    Burial will be in Monroeville Memorial Cemetery.
    Visiting hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2010, in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home's Jacobs Chapel at Monroeville and 10-11 a.m. Saturday in the church.
    Preferred memorials are to St. Mark's Lutheran Church or to Hospice Home of Fort Wayne.
