    Willie E. Putteet, 64, of Alliance, Ohio, died on Thursday, June 30, 2011, in Alliance Community Hospital following a long illness.
    He was born on November 16, 1946, in Richmond, Kentucky, to Roscoe and Cleo Chadwell Putteet. His father is deceased; his mother lives in Decatur.    He was a retired truck driver and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.
    Other survivors are his wife, the former Peggy A. Barnhouse, of Alliance; one daughter, Mrs. Dave (Angela) Bower of North Carolina; four sons, Scott Putteet (and wife Nikki) of Austintown, Ohio; James Putteet (and wife Debbie) of Niles, Ohio; Anthony Boyle (and wife Wendie) of Beloit, 0hio; and Danny Putteet (and wife Vickie) of Salem, Ohio; three brothers, Ron Putteet (and wife Tammy) of Decatur, Dan Putteet (and wife Diana) of Levenia, Georgia; and Doug Putteet of Decatur; 10 grandchildren: Zachery, Jeremy, Kailee, and Cameron Putteet and Abby, Aurara, Dayne, Elizabeth, Hunter, and Amanda Boyle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Hodge.
    No funeral service will be held.
    Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Rittman, Ohio.
    Arrangements were by Dean's Funeral Home in Sebring, Ohio.
