William L. Morris

    William L. (Bill) Morris, 81, Geneva, passed away Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013, at Swiss Village in Berne.
    Bill was born Oct. 8, 1932, to the late Keith and Hattie (Howell) Morris in Lynn. He married Eleanor (Miller) Morris in 1967 and they resided in Geneva; she survives.
    He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War conflict. Following his military service, Bill graduated from Ball State Teachers' College. He first taught in Bryant and then Geneva School. He later served as a long-time school administrator, beginning in Geneva followed by the South Adams School System.    
    Survivors are his sons, Robert Keith (partner Jeff Gross) Morris of Apex, N.C. and Michael James (Katria) Morris of Toledo, Ohio; and a brother, Thomas (Judy) Morris of St. Cloud, Fla.
    He is preceded in death by a brother, James.
    Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Friday with visitation one hour prior to services at the Swiss Village Chapel. Officiating is Pastor James Langham and Pastor Mark Harris.
    Burial will be at a later time in the New Liberty Cemetery in Lynn.
    Preferred memorials are to the Family Life Care and/or Adams Public Library System.
