William F. Rumschlag

    William F. Rumschlag, 78, of Decatur, died Monday, June 10, 2013, at Adams Memorial Hospital.
    Bill was born on February 22, 1935, in Adams County to the late Bernard and Hilda (Coyne) Rumschlag.
    He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus 864 and Decatur Eagles Lodge. He served in the United States Army.
    Among survivors are his sister-in-law, Barbara Rumschlag of Decatur, and nieces and nephews.
    Bill was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
    Visitation will be from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Woodcrest Porter Auditorium, and from 10-11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Hall, with a reciting of the Holy Rosary at 10 a.m.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, with Father Patrick Joseph presiding.
    Entombment will be in the columbarium at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at a later date.
    Preferred memorials are to Gibault Home or St. Mary’s Building on our Heritage.
