William F. Hullinger

    William F. Hullinger, 81, passed away on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at the VA Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
    Born in Decatur, William worked as a Tool & Die Maker for Zollner Piston 34 years before retiring in 1988. He was in the U.S. Marine Corps, a veteran of the Korean Conflict, and a member of American Legion Post 82, VFW 2457 in New Haven, the Marine Corps League, Devil Dogs, and Korean War Veterans.
    Among survivors are his three daughters, Linda K. Salisbury of Fort Wayne; Lori A. Richhart of New Haven; and Karen L. Hullinger of Fort Wayne; two brothers, Ken (Annette) Hullinger of Angola, and Rich (Ruth Ann) Hullinger of Lagrange; six grandchildren; two great- granddaughters; and loving companion, Luella Miller of Fort Wayne.
    William was preceded in death by his parents, Ervin and Minnie Sutleff Hullinger.
    A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30, at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior. Rev. Steve Ensley will be officiating.
    Burial will follow in Covington Memorial Gardens, with military graveside honors.
