Spotlight, Decatur’s annual community and business expo, will be held this year at Bellmont Middle School on Saturday, March 9, from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., organizers have announced.
The tradition of  “spotlighting” area business, industries and non-profits will continue this year as the pride of Decatur will be on display, Chamber of Commerce officials said.
This will be the 17th consecutive year for the event.
In addition to business displays, the school stage will feature WZBD bingo, the Rotary Community Auction, and entertainment.  Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo and Science Central also will make return appearances this year.
All businesses that produce goods or provide services in Adams County are encouraged to be involved in Spotlight.
“Spotlight allows area businesses to introduce themselves to several thousand people over the course of one day,” said Chamber Executive Director Wes Kuntzman. “Spotlight helps build good will between businesses and the community that lasts throughout the year.”
Registration is now open. Booth rental begins at $150 for non-profits. To rent, or for more information, call the Decatur Chamber office: 724-2604.
