VW to host Old Fashioned Farmers Days

    The 39th annual Old Fashioned Farmers Days will be held from July 2-5 at the Van Wert Fairgrounds.
    Antique tractors, gas engines, garden tractors and antique machinery will be on display, as well as quilts and needle art work. The antique car races as well as the car show and antique tractor pull are always popular.
    Entertainment will include a fiddle, banjo and harmonica contest, Spittin Image, Jess King Country Gospel, Blind Date and Len Collier Band. A new event this year is the Farmer Days Pageant.
    Entrance at gate will be $3, with those age 12 and younger admitted free. A three-day pass is available for $7 per person.
