Volunteers sought for mock test

March 26, 2014

The Adams County Health Department is looking for volunteers.
The agency will be conducting a mock “medication dispensing exercise” to test the viability of a point of distribution site for administering medicine on a large-scale basis in the event of a public health emergency, and is looking for volunteers to participate in the exercise, scheduled for 10 a.m. April 2.
Those interested in participating in the exercise should contact the health department at 724-5327 or simply “show up” at 10 a.m. April 2 at the Service Complex. Entry to the POD will be at the 4th Street entrance.
