Virginia E. Fosnaugh

    Virginia E. Fosnaugh, 92, of Decatur, a former longtime resident of Willshire, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2012, in Adams Memorial Hospital.
    She was born on Tuesday, October 28, 1919, in Adams County, the daughter of the late Floyd M. and Lydia M. (Hannie) Shoaf.
    She married James J. Fosnaugh on April 13, 1941, in Decatur; he passed away on May 25, 2004.
    Virginia was a member of the former Willshire United Methodist Church.
    She was a homemaker and had worked for seven years at the Shane Hill Nursing Home.
    Surviving are her daughter, Kandace (Ronald) Stewart of Wilmore, Ky.; grandson Rodney Stewart of Dayton, Ohio; granddaughter Tonya Stewart of Wilmore, Ky.; sister Betty Hammond of Boulder, Colo.; sister Gloria Bentz of Decatur; and four great-grandchildren.
    Preceding Virginia in death were a son, Carey Fosnaugh; one brother, Lauren Shoaf; and one sister, Doris Hemmelgarn.
    Friends will be received from noon until the time of the funeral service, Monday, April 2, in Zwick and Jahn Funeral Home, Decatur.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, April 2, also at the funeral home, with Pastor Bud Larimore officiating.
    Burial will follow in the Willshire Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to Willshire-Union United Methodist Church.
