"Noises Off" is a play within a play, so Bellmont students portray people involved in a make-believe play entitled "Nothing On," a news release said. Alex Pierce, a senior, is Lloyd Dallas, the director, described as "smart, frustrated, passive-aggressive, and condescending." Lee Danels, also a senior, plays Dotty Otley, called "a lovable, fading situation comedy star [who] put her life savings into the show." Danels also plays Mrs. Clackett, a housekeeper. Chris Reilly, a senior, is Garry Lejeune, and also plays Roger Tramplemain. Sophomore Ethan Lichtle is Frederick Fellowes, called "a bumbling and overthinking actor with a heart of gold." He also plays Philip Bent. Brenna Dilley, a junior, is Belinda Blair, described as "the sweet gossip [who] always seems to be in the know and loves to let everyone know it." She also will be Flavia Bent. Nicola Jones, a junior, plays Brooke Ashton, who is "entirely self-absorbed and absolutely clueless to what's happening around her." Jones also portrays a character named Vicki. Katie Krueckeberg, a sophomore, is Poppy Norton-Taylor, the stage manager who is "trying her best to keep the disaster that is 'Nothing On' from falling apart at the seams." Ty Heimann, a senior, plays Tim Allgood, the trusted company manager who is "eager to please everyone and constantly sleep-deprived." Heimann also is the understudy for every cast member of "Nothing On." Tyler Shawler, a sophomore, will be Selsdon Mowbray, described as "an elderly recovering alcoholic with a penchant for missing entrances, forgetting lines, disappearing entirely." Shawler also has the role of a burglar. Senior Katie Smitley plays Miss Rockefeller. Senior Cortney Fockler portrays Mrs. Vanderbilt. Junior Aaron Hallman is Mr. Hillton. Dhara Patel, a sophomore, portrays a "techie."
