However, said Greg Logan, officer-in-charge here all collection points that have a regularly-scheduled collection time prior to noon on Friday will be collected as scheduled.
Regular mail delivery for Friday will be unaffected.
Post office box mail access will only be available until noon in those post offices in which retail counters and access to post office boxes are co-located and are affected by early retail closing.
The post office here will resume normal hours on Monday.
No garbage collection will be made in Decatur on Friday. The usual Friday pickups will be made Monday along with that day's daily run.
