...This may look like a scene from the Hollywood epic "Firefight at the OK Corral," but it actually IS six members of the Decatur Fire Department walking in full gear in the heat at last Friday's kickoff for the 2009 Relay for Life. The Adams County event, which reportedly brought in some $66,000 to fight cancer and help its victims, was held at Adams Central School. The firefighters, who walked four times around the quarter-mile track, included Assistant Chief Jim Hitchcock (left) and Captain Jeff Sheets (center), plus Chief Les Marckel, volunteer deputy chief Tony Stimpson, Leo Feasel, and Ryan Rumschlag.
