Some nasty-looking storm clouds were over Decatur Monday morning, such as this one, and again last night. A rain-free period of some two and a half weeks came to an end in a big way in Decatur on Monday, with morning and evening storms dumping 1.63 inches of rain on the city. And more rain was due today, according to forecasts. The St. Marys River rose eight feet overnight, from 3.5 feet at 7 a.m. Monday to 11.4 feet at 7 a.m. today. (Photo by Shawna Affolder)
