She married Joe E.J. Schwartz on November 3, 1977, and he also survives. She was a member of the Old Order Amish. Other survivors are five sons, Joseph C.J., Jacob C.J., John C.J., Samuel C.J., and Nathan C.J. Schwartz, all of Jay County; four daughters, Mrs. Benjamin (Malinda J.) Schwartz, Mrs. William (Elma J.) Wickey, Mrs. John (Emma J.) Girod, and Caroline J. Schwartz, all of Jay County; three brothers, David E. Wickey of rural Grabill, and Emanuel E. and Samuel E. Wickey, both of rural Berne; four sisters, Mrs. Carl (Emma E.) Schwartz and Mrs. Elmer (Elizabeth E.) Schwartz, both of rural Monroe, and Mrs. Jacob (Mary E.) Schwartz and Mrs. Ruben (Ada E.) Schwartz, both of rural Berne; and 16 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Sunday in her home, 5870 E. County Rd. 900 North in Jay County, with burial in Bearcreek Cemetery, rural Bryant. Visiting hours are today until 8 p.m. and 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday in the home. Funeral arrangements were by Downing and Glancy Funeral Home, Geneva.
