Adams County maintenance department director Dave Meyer came to the commissioners on behalf of the Adams County Peace Monument Committee this week to report that bricks to commemorate military veterans are now on sale.
These bricks will be part of the memorial wall that is to be erected around the monument.
The first four-inch by eight-inch brick will cost $70, but if a person wants to buy more, successive bricks of the same size will be $60 apiece. Eight-inch by eight-inch bricks will cost $135, and $125 for successive bricks.
