Vernon L. Horther

    Vernon L. Horther, 85, formerly of Van Wert, Ohio, died Thursday in Lima Manor at Lima, Ohio.
    He was born to Clarence and Ina M. Hoffman Horther.
    Among survivors are a daughter, Mrs. William (Marlene) Otis of Westerville, Ohio, and three sons,Roy Horther of Fort Wayne, Terry Horther of Austin, Texas, and Rick Horther of Decatur.
    Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home in Van Wert, with burial in Woodland Cemetery at Van Wert. Visiting hours are 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today and one hour prior to services.
