The United Way of Adams County is operating a food and paper products drive in partnership with several businesses in the county to aid local food banks.
Boxes have been placed at a number of locations around the county, including the following: Edward Jones offices, Common Ground Church, Community Markets, M&M Market in Geneva, Eichhorn Jewelry, Zurcher Tire, Decatur police and fire departments.
Also, North Adams Schools administrative office, Adams Public Library System sites in Decatur and Geneva, Bank of Geneva's main office, and Decatur Daily Democrat.
The Decatur Rotary Club is also helping gather food for the UWAC effort.
Any businesses wishing to participate should call the United Way: 728-2056.
