Two cities named Stellar recipients, Decatur loses bid

August 14, 2014

Two recipients of Stellar Communities grants were announced this morning at the Indiana State Fair, and the city of Decatur was not among those recipients.
Awarded grants were the cities of Huntingburg and Wabash.
"We're very disappointed, but not deterred from moving ahead with our plan," Mayor John Schultz said in a phone conversation immediately following the announcement. "Maybe we'll be back here at the state fair next year."
