Timothy E. Bowers

    Timothy E. "Tim" Bowers, 32, Decatur, passed away Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at Lutheran Hospital as the result of a tragic hunting accident.
    He was born Feb. 18, 1981, to Charles and Carol (LaFontaine) Bowers; they survive.
    He married Abbey Logan on Aug. 3, 2013; she survives.
    Tim was a member of Saint Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and its Knights of Colubus Msgr. Seimetz Council 864. He was the owner of 5 Points Transmission.
    He is survived by a stepson, Greg Shively, at home and a child, Baby Bowers, to be born; three sisters, Lisa (John) McAfee, Bluffon, Jenny (Landon) Shultz, Las Vegas, Nev. and Krista (Scott) Jauregui, Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.
    Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. Thursday at Haggard-Sefton and Hirschy Funeral Home with a reciting of the Holy Rosary at 12:30 p.m.
    A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church with Father David Voors presiding.
    Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
    Preferred memorials are to Baby Bowers Education Fund.
