The sixth annual St. Mary's Fall Fest, a fundraiser for St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church and St. Joseph Catholic School in Decatur, opens a three-day run today.
Activities will be held on Fourth St. beside the church and school, between Madison and Monroe Sts.. Following is the schedule of events:
Friday
6-10 p.m.—Preview of items to be sold at a silent auction. You must be at least 21 to enter.
7 p.m.—Super Bingo, for those who at least 21 years old; $30 for 15 games and that includes admission to the silent auction preview.
For refreshments, admission will be $5.
Saturday
5 p.m.—Fall Fest opens.
5-7 p.m.—Music by My Lost Tribe, a Decatur rock band.
7-10 p.m.—Music by the Junk Yard Band.
A silent auction, a Chinese auction, and rides in horse-drawn carriages provided by Camelot Carriage Rides of rural Decatur.
Dinners will include filet mignon, $8; chicken breast, $6; and a half-rack of ribs, $8.
Sunday
Events will start at noon, with a food tent, raffles, a Chinese auction, performances by students from Decatur Dance Academy and the Razz M' Jazz dance school in Decatur, a cornhole tournament, posh party, three-on-three basketball tourney, children's activities, and more horse-drawn carriage rides.
