Thomas H. Lambert, 73, of Oak Harbor, Washington, passed away late August 5, 2012. He was born on January 31, 1939, in Wellston, Ohio, to the late Thomas E. and Helen Marie (Dye) Lambert.
Tom served in the Army and Army National Guard for 16 1/2 years. He retired from Ford Motor Company in Lima, Ohio, after 32 years of service. He also served on the Lafayette, Ohio, Police Department for 11 1/2 years, before he moved and made a home in Oak Harbor, Wash., until his death.
Among survivors are his wife of 39 years, Roxanna Rauch Lambert of Oak Harbor; five children, Thomas Lambert, Simona (Lambert) Frey, and John R. Lambert, all of Franklin, Ohio; and John T. Lambert and Peter Lambert of Oak Harbor, Wash.; a brother, Richard (Louise) Lambert of Decatur; four sisters, Patricia Arnold of Chillicothe, Ohio; Dorothy Wolfe of Decatur; Beverly Byer of Willshire, Ohio; and Connie Lambert of Decatur; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Funeral services were conducted by Burley Funeral Chapel in Oak Harbor, Washington.
