Theodore Wayne Perry

    Theodore “Ted” Wayne Perry, 86, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, November 19, 2012, at home.
    Born in Kalamazoo, Mich., he was the son of the late Harrison and Marie (VanAvery) Perry.
    The World War II Navy veteran was a member of the V.F.W. 10006 and the Eagles in New Haven. He retired from ITT after 48 years of service.
    He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Charles Ellis of Fort Wayne, Connie and Bill Landrum and Wendy and Paul Miller, all of Decatur, and Roxana and Warren Imbody of Churubusco; brother, Harrison Perry; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Harriett Maxine Perry, on July 3, 2012; brothers, David, Douglas and Robert Perry; sisters, Carol Martin and Ruth Miller; and grandson, Tylen Ellis.
    A funeral service was held Monday, November 26, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home.
