Ted Swoveland

    Ted Swoveland, 74, of Berne, died Thursday in Chalet Village Nursing Home.
    He was born to Robert and Gertrude Swoveland.
    Among survivors are his wife, Shirley; a son, Bradley Swoveland of Sturgis, Michigan; a daughter, Marsha Swoveland of Pleasant Mills; three brothers, including Charles Swoveland of rural Decatur; and three sisters, including Linda Anderson of Decatur.
    Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday in Berne Evangelical Church, with burial in Berne Evangelical Mennonite Cemetery. Visiting hours are noon to 2:30 p.m. Monday in the church.
    Yager-Kirchhofer Funeral Home at Berne was in charge of arrangements.
