Tasting part of Thursday event

    Taste of Decatur will be held Thursday as part of the annual Kekionga Festival and the city's new Sculpture Walk.
    Taste will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. at the courthouse square in downtown Decatur.
    Five local establishments will serve small portions from their menu, with offerings ranging from 50 cents to $2. The five:
    The Back 40 Junction,1011 N. 13th St., to serve smoked beef brisket sandwiches, strawberry shortcake, fresh strawberry lemonade.
    Goldies Goodies, 227 S. 2nd St., to sell cookies, bars, pie, cheesecake, iced tea, lemonade, flavored iced tea, flavored lemonade, homemade ice cream
    Molly’s Place, 1704 Nuttman Avenue, Decatur, to serve stir fry, tacos, dips, salads, sandwiches, nachos.
    Papino’s Pizza, 620 S. 13th St., Decatur, to offer various types of pizza, sides, Coke products.
    The Old 27 Ice Cream Shop, 168 S. Second St., Decatur, will offer ice cream, mini sundaes, floats, walking tacos, hotdogs w/chili and cheese, soft drinks, bottled water.
    The Sculpture Walk unveiling is scheduled for 6 the same night.
