Sylvester R. Whitenack

    Sylvester R. "Vet" Whitenack, 75, Fremont died Monday.
    He was a machinist at CTS Corp in Berne for 30 years and later worked for Simon Step Company.
    Survivors include his wife (name not given) and daughters, Teresa (Wasa) Sakamoto, Santa Monica, California; Julie Lauletta, Ft. Wayne; and Carol(Jack) Shumaker, LaOtto.
    Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the West Missionary Church with visitation from 9 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be in the Bluff Point Cemetery near Portland, Indiana.
