Students receive to give

December 7, 2011

The Bellmont High School Student Council has found a way to spread their own brand of Christmas spirit, after all it is better to give than it is to receive.
The student council collected any amounts of monetary donations from the student body last week in order to provide gifts for needy children this Christmas. Donations were accepted throughout the school week.
These donations will support anywhere from 20 to 30 children this rapidly approaching holiday season.
Aside from leading the event, the student council will also be wrapping the gifts. The council plans to purchase necessities for the children the school will be sponsoring.
Bellmont's Student Council is embodying the spirit of Christmas and, in this case, the council had to receive in order to give.
