Stratton-Porter birthday event being planned

    Limberlost State Historic Site, in collaboration with The Friends of the Limberlost, will celebrate the life and legacy of author, naturalist, photographer and movie producer Gene Stratton-Porter at a special 150th birthday celebration to be held from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, August 2, at the historic site in Geneva.
    The affair is dubbed Geneva’s Geneva. Guests are welcome to dress in time period clothing, the announcement said.
     Tickets are $15 per person.  Guests must be age 21 or older to attend. To purchase tickets, call the historic site, (260) 368-7428. Reservations are appreciated, but not required, the announcement said.
