Deborah Stimpson

Deborah (Deb) Stimpson of Decatur today announced her candidacy for the office of Adams County Recorder on the Republican ticket.
Current Recorder Connie Moser is prevented by term limits from seeking a new term.
Stimpson is currently the office manager for the Decatur-Adams County Parks and Recreation Department, a position she has held for the past 12 years.
Prior to that she worked for the surveyor's office for two years. She was also employed by CTS Corporation for 22 years.
Stimpson is married to Michael Stimpson and they are the parents of three children: Alan Carr of Ohio City, Ohio; Amy Joseph of Rockford, Ohio; and Abby Stimpson a student at the University of Indianapolis.
Stimpson said she plans to bring her strong work ethic to the auditor's office, along with working hand in hand with other county offices. She added that she would like to continue on the path that Moser has started since she took office.
